Revel Systems Australia has partnered workforce management software company, Deputy, to integrate its performance analytics solution.
Deputy software allows employers to schedule staff, assign tasks and track performance, while Revel’s cloud based system gives employers access to real time sales data which can be broken own hourly, daily and weekly, as well as by staff member.
Overlaying Revel’s sales and performance analytics with Deputy’s scheduling data will enable employers to track rostering against sales data, allowing them to compare employee shift costs against performance in real-time.
This allows managers to forecast employees’ labour costs against the percentage of expected sales to make better rostering decisions for their business lowering the risk of understaffing or overstaffing.
Revel Systems Australia general manager, Josh Franklin, said businesses shouldn’t expose themselves to the cost and risk of over or under staffing these days.
“Particularly when huge data sets at their disposal to make more informed decisions,” he said.
“We’re pleased to empower our customers with Deputy integration so they can access even more analytics to create and manage their rosters effectively. We are also excited about teaming up with an innovative Australian software company.”
Deputy’s Co-Founder and CTO, Ashik Ahmed, said offering integration with Revel’s real-time sales analytics to the company’s customers would mean managers could improve their business efficiency from one central location.
“It will minimise the problem of having too many or too few staff scheduled on and help our customers put the focus back on managing their business rather than spending too much time managing rosters.”
Deputy’s Roster versus Timesheet Report works with Revel’s analytics to observe sales per staff member.
Employers can also view real-time data on what they scheduled in comparison with what was executed and how each staff member performed.
